About Paul Berkey
Introduction
Born Feb. 12, 1985 and raised in Denver, Colorado. Growing up enjoying action sports, hockey, lacrosse, and dirt bikes to name a few. I love the outdoors and being active, ripping up the jetski or tearing up the rink are a few favorite past times these days.
Art was something I picked up naturally from many generations of art in the family. My father a well renowned residential architect taught me many skills in his industry and all round as an artist.
My Work Experience
I have been working in architecture since 2004 but really enjoy the fine art side of my career. Today I actively tattoo, paint, air brush, draw, and computer design. I haven't had much schooling but have been to Red Rocks Community college for graphic / 3D design. Then transferred to the Art Institute of Colorado, where gaining my knowledge in Industrial Design.
I got the desire to tattoo back at the Art Institute after seeing some friends pick up the skill. Tattooing is something I will be doing for a very long time. Seeing my work on people around town brings a smile to my face. Pushing the limits of my skill is something I strive for everyday...
Clothing and I just kind of happened. I started my own clothing company "Warped Clothing" back in 2006. It did well and made an impact quickly in the scene we targeted. Selling clothing was not something I really pursued because of too many avenues needing filled in my other design fields. I built my entire line based on the electronic dance music industry and later decided it's not a direction I wanted to follow forever and let it come to end. I now help many new clothing companies make an impact in the industry and get them rolling on the right foot. Will I own another clothing company some day? ...maybe.
Painting is just a media I can't stay away from. Taking a tattoo style to canvas is really something I love doing. I now have sold many paintings all custom one of a kind pieces. Lets make that special piece for your pad and color your world.
